~ Stuffed Banana Peppers ~


30 Banana Peppers

1 lb Local Made Sausage

2 Cups Cooked Rice

1 Can of Spaghetti Sauce

12 oz. Pkg Mozzarella Cheese


Fry sausage until done , add canned spaghetti sauce / homemade would be better ( didn't have any ) and pre- cooked rice to sausage and let it simmer for 10 minutes . Remove from heat and let stuffing cool.

While stuffing is cooling , cut peppers in half , take seeds out and wash peppers. Spray baking pan with oil. Stuff peppers and put on baking pan. Bake at 450 until browning , remove and add cheese. You can put peppers back in oven to brown cheese or let it melt and serve.
